The P12i is the ultimate all-in-one solution for troubleshooting, pre-locating and pinpointing of cable faults in complex LV & MV networks up to 12kV. Menu guided operation allows to detect and precisely locate any possible fault for even unexperienced users. Featuring a large colour 10,4” screen the P12i can display measurement curves, settings and message codes simultaneously. Integrated full scale TDR capability including the high voltage ARTi mode will isolate and pre-locate low and high resistance faults with high precision. The multi-dimensional safety system PROSAFE 3D ensures maximum safety for the instrument, the operator and DUT. The optional pinpointer Kamphone and Locator S are used for flash-over faults or cable sheath faults, respectively.

P12i is a portable cable fault locating system for low andand medium voltage networks. It generates high surge pulsesup to a voltage of 12 kV and with a maximum energy of 1000 Jin each surge level (3,6,12kV) or optional 2000 J.It is equipped with three motorised switchable surge level.The prelocation method based on ART (Arc Reflection Technique)is available in the integrated reflectometer.

The PS4-A1001 Surge Generator is primarily used for cable fault location in low voltage and lighting networks, and it is also used for cable tests in conformity with VDE standard. For the precise prelocation of high impedance faults in conjunction with a TDR the proven prelocation method based on the ART (Arc Reflection Technique) has been integrated. The PS3- PS4 Surge Generator is used for the cable fault location in low and medium voltage networks with low nominalvoltage. It generates high energy surge waves up to a voltage of3 kV with 450 J or 4 kV with 500 J. The surge rate can be controlled electronically. A single shot mode is also provided. The prelocation method based on ART (Arc Reflection Technique)is integrated in the versions PS 3-A450 and PS 4-A500 for the prelocation of high impedance cable faults.
